“Save us Lord; we are perishing.” And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?” Matthew 8: 25,26
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It must seem, in these difficult times that we have been forsaken, but I tell you, we have not. I have known the mercy of the Lord, and although I do not deserve it, it seems I have been granted more, far more than I could ever deserve. He is a God of mercy and grace beyond our comprehension and we must maintain our faith even through the darkest of times. It is now when we must return to scripture to try to gain some understanding of this mercy.
It has been months now since I have been able to sit down and write, update this website, as I was moving about in the wilderness, and now his mercy has given me a place to be at long last, a place I am sure I do not deserve. Nonetheless, I am grateful beyond words and now look ahead to the future, even when it seems the future has changed for all mankind.
We are in the midst of things that we cannot understand, that we fear, and we do not know how they will end, but surely our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ will get us there, if we only hold on to his word. This world of material possessions and wealth has taken us, spiritually, down a path to ruination and perhaps we are now being shown a way to correct our own individual paths, so that we may again find the path of righteousness. This is my present hope, for I have known decent men and women, who love our Lord and honor Him with all their hearts, their minds, and their souls. This is our sacred duty; this is what we must do now and forever.
I, of course have no answers about the current plague that has begun to ravage our world, only that I know faith in Jesus Christ alone will save you and our brethren. We are together in Him, and we should remember when he told us to treat each other as we ourselves would be treated. Perhaps with all the darkness, if we search for the light, we may find a peace undiscovered in our modern age. For, as He tells us, “seek and you shall find.” I have not yet given up hope, I have not yet given up on the redemption of mankind. I pray that all who may find this message today, also do not give up hope. Thanks be to God!
Yours in Christ,
Br. M.
